Background

Established in Ballarat in March 1988, Peter Lambert Design is an experienced, enthusiastic and ethical graphic design firm with an enviable reputation for being responsive, responsible and creative. One of our major strengths is understanding and bringing order to complex projects - creating clarity from chaos. The studio has produced numerous design solutions that have been recognised, here and internationally, for their design excellence.

Visual identity (and its application to all facets of an organisation's visual presence)
Communications (information and promotional publications, displays, advertising, promotions and launches), and
Signage (identification, interpretive, way-finding)

The studio is centrally located in Ballarat.

Awards and achievements

In 1992, the firm was awarded a Certificate of Excellence in an international competition for the design of the logo for Her Majesty's Theatre. The logo was selected for inclusion in the book International Logos and Trademarks II.

In 1997, the firm was again awarded Certificates of Excellence for logo design - this time for VIOSH Australia and Back to Ballarat 1998. These logos were selected for inclusion in the fourth edition of International Logos and Trademarks.

In 1998, one of our entries for The Australian Flag - Professional Design Competition & Exhibition was selected as one of the best 100 designs and included in the touring exhibition. Subsequently, it was selected for inclusion in the Judges Top 10. It can be viewed at www.ausflag.com.au
